The Valles de Omaña and Luna Biosphere Reserve is participating as a speaker at the VI International Ecotourism Fair of Castile and León, Naturcyl, in Ruesga (Palencia)
The Valles de Omaña and Luna Biosphere Reserve attended as an invited guest by the organizers of the VI International Ecotourism Fair of Castile and León, Naturcyl, held during the weekend of September 15th to 17th in the town of Ruesga (Cervera de Pisuerga), in the heart of the Palencia Mountains.
On September 16th, the Valles de Omaña and Luna Biosphere Reserve, represented by our colleagues Haidée and Rubén, presented the World Network of Mountain Biosphere Reserves through a talk titled ‘The World Network of Mountain Biosphere Reserves: Where Water Springs and Gods Still Roam.’
During the talk, we were able to guide the attendees on a journey through the World Network of Mountain Biosphere Reserves, delving into the beginnings of the network and exploring some of the Biosphere Reserves that are part of it to learn about the culture and management of water in these territories.
We also had time to enjoy the booth of our colleagues from the OAPN (Autonomous National Parks Agency), as well as many other activities hosted by this ecotourism fair.
Many thanks to the Naturcyl organizers for their kind invitation and their demonstrated interest in the World Network of Mountain Biosphere Reserves as a unique international space to discuss ecotourism, coexistence, and respect.
