The internationally renowned scientific journal eco.mont focuses on Alpine Protected Areas and on other European (or global) mountain Protected Areas. eco.mont is an open access journal (2021 Impact Factor Web of Science: 0.889) and is published twice a year. It publishes peer-reviewed articles on research and management topics in protected mountain areas, reports (not peer-reviewed) on management issues, and so-called a case in point showcasing (not peer-reviewed) one protected area. A case in point could be a perfect way to make Mountain Biosphere Reserve better known to the global community.
