Valles del Leza, Jubera, Cidacos y Alhama (Spain)
The main economic activity in the Leza and Jubera valleys is cattle raising. Mostly cattle, but also sheep, goats and bees are raised by farmers, shepherds and beekeepers in this area, which is suffering from a significant depopulation and ageing of its inhabitants. Nature tourism complements the rural economy through overnight stays in tourist accommodations. Mining activity linked to the production of gypsum is also important.
